Here is the finished product. I think he looks really handsome. I like it when it is all spiked up with some gel in it. He looks so big. He's not our baby anymore he is our big boy.

First Hair Cut (April 22, 2011)
Spencer's hair was really long and it has needed to be cut for so long. I just couldn't do it but finally at 11 months old I decided it was time for a hair cut. The picture on the left it what it looked like before we cut it. It took us both to be able to get him to hold still long enough for us to cut it. I cut the top with the clippers and he wouldn't hold still so Jared cut the bottom. He really didn't like the sound and he was getting frustrated that we wouldn't let him play with the clippers.
Washington DC
We finally found some Cherries trees. They line the whole street. We wanted to go the Festival but when we walked past all the booth's were closed. Maybe next year. The picture on the right is a picture of the Lincoln or Jefferson Memorial. (We never got close enough to see which one it was). I thought this was a really pretty picture with the Cherry Trees in surrounding it. At the World War II Memorial they had a different Memorial for all the states so we found the Utah one.
World War II Memorial
I'm standing in front of the Fonts at the World War II Memorial and in the the back ground you can see Washington Memorial. We didn't go up to see the Washington Memorial but we did walk by it.
First Trip into DC (on April 1 2011)
First Trip on the Train (Metro)
Crystal and Spencer outside the Washington DC Temple
It was a little bit cooler the day we decided to go but we were able to walk all around the temple grounds. One of the missionaries in the visitor center (which by the way isn't as big as the Salt Lake City Visitor Center) said that they decorate the temple for Christmas time she said that we have to come back and see it. She also told us where to see the Cherry Blossom trees. She said that the best place is right down town DC. So that's why we decided to make a trip to see them.
Washington DC Temple Trip
We decided to take a trip up to the temple to see the grounds and we heard that they had a nice visitor center. It took us about an hour to get there but it was well worth the trip. The Washington DC temple is actually in Kensington Maryland but it is still in the Washington DC area so that's why it is called the Washington DC Temple.
