Spencer's 1st time Flying

We flew out of Ronald Reagan Airport on the 23rd of December. Our flight didn't leave until 11:50 Eastern time and we were there by 9:00. While we waiting for flight, Spencer was so excited, he kept seeing the airplanes take off and land and would call them helicopter's. We told him over and over that it was an airplane not a helicopter but there is no reasoning with a 19 month old. They were helicopter to him. When we boarded the plane and found our seats he was so curious about everything on the airplane. He loved to put up and down the tray and he even found Kermit the frog on the front cover of the magazine that the airlines had. He kept saying frog the whole time. When the plane started to move he got excited but when it lifted off the ground he had to look over and me and Jared to make sure we weren't scared when he saw us smiling he smiled and enjoyed it. He loved to watch the clouds out the windows and then he got drowsy and fell asleep for most of the 1st leg of our flight. He woke up just as we were descending to land in MN where we had a 45 min layover. Just as we landed he looked out the window and saw all the airplanes and kept saying helicopter. It was pretty funny. We had to hurry over to so we could get on our connecting flight to SLC. He stayed awake the whole connecting flight, luckily we had brought some toys for him to unwrap and they kept him busy for most of the flight. I felt really bad he spilled water on our neighbor right before we landed in SLC. I was really embarrassed but the guy didn't seem too onry about it. It was so good to see the Mountains as were landing in Utah. I kept telling Spencer what we were flying over and was excited. The baby really liked flying too because I felt it for the 1st time while we were flying. It was really active. He is a picture of us on the airplane.
