Ethan Thomas Pike

All the walking at the zoo worked. Ethan Thomas Pike was born May 23, 2012 at 10:25 AM. He was 7 lbs 4 oz and 20.5 inches long. My camera batteries were dead so there aren't a lot of pictures of us in the hospital. Mom and Dad stayed with Spencer so Jared could stay at the hospital with me. We went home on Friday May 25th so it was a shorter stay and Ethan was healthy and didn't need to be in the NICU. We didn't even have the camera for when we were taking him home. I took a picture with my phone but it was damaged so I took a picture of him later in the outfit that we brought him home in.

Zoo with Grandma Shelley and Grandpa Corey

While mom and dad where here waiting for the baby to arrive we decided to go into the National Zoo. We went on May 22nd. Spencer just loves the zoo. He loves to point at the Orangutan's that go across the O'Line. He also really liked to sit on the statue of the Red Panada and smile for a picture. We had a fun time with Grandma and Grandpa at the Zoo. I was pretty wore out but we were trying to do a lot of walking to get the baby here.

Birthday presents!

Happy 2nd Birthday Spencer!

Here is a picture of Spencer's 2nd Birthday Cake! It turned out way cute!

More Pictures from National Zoo-May 12, 2012

Here are more pictures from the Zoo. Spencer loved the turtles and frogs. He wanted to stay and watch them forever, he cried when we took him to see something else. The Dinosaur was Spencer favorite at the Zoo. When we walked in and he saw the Dinosaur he yelled Osaur, Osaur and ran right up to  it.

National Zoo-May 12, 2012

We decided to take Spencer to the National Zoo before the baby is born. We just let Spencer tell us or rather lead us where he wanted to go. He had so much fun and walked the whole 4 hours we were there. He didn't want to be pushed in the stroller. Here are some pictures we took of him at the Zoo.
